I was looking forward to Melissa and Paul's wedding, mainly because I learned how awesome they were from photographing their engagement shoot. I remember Paul saying he didn't like heat very much. So here came the wedding day, and it was going to be one of the hottest days of the year. I would have felt sorry for Paul, except since he was marrying such an amazing girl, I think he came out VERY far ahead, despite the heat. hahaha.
Anyhow, the events started with the traditional Chinese ceremonies of torturing the groom and the groomsmen. They started by eating durian. It's one of the most foul smelling foods around. I don't think anyone enjoyed it. hahaha
Well, I'll just let you draw your own conclusions as to what's going on here...
Then of course the tea ceremonies.

The first dance was someting to behold. It was beautifully choreographed. Not surpising, seeing as how Melissa is a dancing guru!

Congratuations again, Melissa and Paul! What a wonderful day full of laughs and tears. It was such an amazing day and it was so much fun to hang out with you all! Many great wishes for you both!
