Do I do family photos? YES!!

I often get asked if I do family photos... I guess that is because my website and blog are heavy on wedding content, though that will be changing soon. But, yes, I enjoy doing other types of photography as well! In the past I sometimes have delivered them directly to the client without posting them online, as was the case with this shoot I did last year. But not anymore! Here are a few highlights from that family shoot.

People often don't realize they can incorporate an extended family photo as part of their single family shoot with a little extra planning. It's a great way to get the whole family together AND get some photos done too.

This little one totally stole the show. She is oh so sweet, and oh SO full of energy.

Bryan is going to be in trouble once these girls grow up... Such a beautiful family!

I like to incorporate something dynamic into each shoot, this particular location was chosen by Bryan and Fiona because they took wedding photos along this exact pathway.    Their wedding photos included a series of them walking away hand in hand on this exact path so it seemed to make sense to have some more photos of them walking with their beautiful girls to complete the series.

Of course, we needed a close up of little Kendra!

It's always fun to work with families. Now that I have Simon, I get a glimpse of where I've been when I shoot newborns, and where I'm headed when I work with toddlers.
