I am Simon. I am 4. Months.
Well, as promised, I am back for the Monthly World News, according to me, Simon.
I rang in my fourth month with the usual photo shoot. Dad thought it would be a wonderful idea to dress me up like a fisherman. I can only assume that this means he will be forcing this hobby on me as I get older, regardless of my desire to fish or not. I'm sure there will be many hobbies of dad's that I will be unwillingly obligated to enjoy. And yes, that is a real fishing rod... not even a kids' version or anything. Dad tells me kids' versions of fishing gear is "overpriced and work like junk".
Anyhow, onto the generic snapshots...
I've learned that I like walking and standing. I still need support at the moment but I'll be thrilled when I can be independent of assistance so I can terrorize the neighbourhood with more than just my very powerful voice.
I've been practicing my suave smile. GQ should be calling any minute now.
Now I'm big and strong enough to sit in the Bumbo chair!
We then went on our first road trip! We visited my grandma and grandpa in Langdon! Here I am taking mom and grandpa for a walk down their driveway. (You can't see me because I'm hiding infront of mom. But trust me, I am there guiding them. They would be totally lost with me there.)
Grandma couldn't get enough of me!
I got to meet Uncle Fred, and see my cousin Lauren again!
My cousin Lizabee held me for the first time!
Here I am with my Auntie!
Lauren and Lizabee posed with their sculptures; they're so funny!
Grandpa had a lot of fun when I decided to play with him.
It was a big month! I got to meet my two aunties on my mom's side for the first time! Here is auntie Laura!
And auntie Karen! And my cousins Pearl and Dougie!
I didn't like dad's shirt so I "encouraged" him to change it. My communication skills are top notch.
Here I am hanging with mommy. Her shirt was fine though, so I didn't tell her to change it.
I am also good at impressions. Here is my best Fat Albert impression. (My dad loves Fat Albert)
And that's it for this month! I'm pooped! It's such hard work being so cute.
Stay tuned for the next edition of the Monthly World Report, according to Simon.
Thanks for watching. Goodbye!
