I am Simon. I am Five. Months.
Hello everyone! Sorry I'm a couple days late on the Montly World Report according to Simon, but here I am to brighten up your day!
I just turned 5 months! That means I'm 25% older than my last posting. That's a LONG time when you think about it that way. So I've learned a few new tricks! Like sitting on my belly and drooling simultaneously. I hear some people can't chew gum and walk at the same time, so I'm already ahead of them.
And now here's the generic snapshots of the last month.
My mommy's friends at work got me this thing called the jumperoo. I love bouncing around in it like crazy giving myself whiplash. It's fun!
It was as big month for me as I started to eat solid food. This is my very first attempt at eating rice cereal. Daddy is thrilled that my first food was rice. He said he'll soon be adding Kimchee to it.
Then we went on a trip to Fort McMurray for Charlene and Trevor's wedding! On the way we stopped in at Grassland and met this guy here. I dunno, I think he's a donkey but really, i have no idea. If you guys know then please fill us in.
Then my parents tried to get me to bathe without screaming by using this thing called the Tummy Tub. Honestly, I felt like a canned pretzel.
I let them use it for one day before I let them know that I hated it and never want to be in it again.
Apparently, the angle on the tummy tub was bad for daddy's back and he was out for the count. Simon 1. Dad 0.
I'm still teething and putting everything into my mouth... like grandma's fingers.
Here we are playing
Toys are for eating, not playing.
Here is my impression of the Fonz. Ayyyyyy
Edmonton has a ridiculous amount of sun. So I've invested in good eyewear.
So we took my new eyewear for a test run at the playground by my house. It works well as mommy and daddy can't tell when I'm rolling my eyes at the dumb things they do.
I still take mom and dad on multiple daily walks in the gorgeous river valley. As you can see I take the lead, and they follow me.
It was a beautiful month as the blossoms were out in full force. I thought this lone tree looked cool.
And here I am with mommy. She's pretty cool; I let her roll with me.
It's gonna be another big month so I'll catch you in my next installment of the Monthly World Report. Over and out.
Simon
