Maternity and Family with Kathy, Clem, Kalan, and Samara!
Kathy, Clem, and Kalan came up to Edmonton from Calgary to get some family and maternity photos done. It was pretty close to her due date; I guess Kathy likes to live dangerously. =)
Baby Samara has arrived, and all is wonderful! Congrats you guys!

Kalan using Samara as an armrest. My sister used to do that to me, until I outgrew her.
He's already her bodyguard and protector. Apparently, he's already VERY protective over her and only lets "approved" people get close to her. Samara's future boyfriends will have their work cut out for them.

We then went to an abandoned empty residential lot that was overgrown with weeds. I figured it would be interesting to shoot in a dumpy, ill-maintained lot.
I love this one!

Carrying a baby on such a tiny frame must be very hard work.
