Night with Julia and Tallin!

It was a gorgeous evening for an eshoot! Unfortunately, severe delays on Hwy 2 held up Julia and Tallin, so the sun was all but gone when we started the shoot.

But we are Night and Day photography! No situation makes us nervous! Actually, I was pretty excited to shoot in darkness, pushing my camera and lighting techniques to the limit.

Edmonton moved into the yellow phase of autumn a couple days before the shoot. A beautiful time to shoot!

A walk in the woods.

I know it doesn't look like it, but it was so dark we could barely see the trees at this point.

aaaaaaaand.... darkness falls

It was totally pitch black at this point, but we decided to walk to the North Saskatchewan River anyhow. Who says night isn't a nice time for a walk on the beach?

Julia and Tallin, I had a blast! Thank you for trusting me to shoot in the dark. What can I say, I love a challenge. Cannot wait for the wedding!
