Fashion in Milan, Italy!
Finally have completed processing the photos from the second stop on our Fashion tour: Milan, Italy!
Central Milan was beautiful with classic cobblestone streets everywhere decorated with old architecture, yet still fully equipped with today's modern amenities. Beautiful! One thing that surprised me though, is how quiet it was at night. At 8pm there was hardly a soul to be seen on the streets! It felt like Edmonton at 3AM. But once business hours hit, WOW was it ever busy!
Anyhow, onward to the pictures. Agnieszka looked great amidst all the fall colours, which were well and present.
Then we hit the streets! ALL the buildings were beautiful! I was in architectural heaven! This was some private stairway. The owner was leaving as we got there so we asked if we could shoot on the steps, to which he said, "sì!" This is a doorway to some theatre building. I'd probably have better descriptions if I could read Italian. This is right beside the famous Duomo. The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. Such an amazing piece of historic architecture... with a McDonald's of all things right in the centre! (I used Agnieszka to block it out of the picture)
Milan was a wonderful place to have the opportunity to shoot in! Although we had trouble at times not knowing Italian (our miscommunication managed to REALLY tick off a cafe worker) it was still quite awesome all around. But we expected nothing less from the fashion capital of the world!
