Gorgeous Mountains

I had the good fortune of attending the Canadian Imaging Conference at the gorgeous Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel just a few days ago. It was a fantastic event and very worthwhile! And then my fortunes doubled as I had to go directly from Banff to the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge to shoot a wedding right after the conference. I've never personally driven the road between Banff and Jasper, but I sure am glad I did! The scenery was breathtaking! Of course, I had to make a couple of stops for some photos. Thought you might enjoying taking a look.

The sun was starting to get low over the beautiful snow covered terrain:

And then there was some kind of storm brewing on this mountain top!

Thankfully, the storm didn't reach the highway; it was clean and clear the whole way there! Whew!

I truly feel very lucky to be living in such a beautiful part of the world.
