I am Simon. This is Megan.
Well folks, I know it's sure been a long time, but I thought I would check in and bring you another edition of the Monthly World Report. A lot has happened in the recent past, and daddy is very busy with shooting, and now I have a new assistant named Megan whom I have to put in a large effort to train. Hopefully she will quickly be up to speed on the happenings of the world and will soon join me as my co-anchor.
So Megan, the official Princess of the household, Dutchess of Mill Creek, turned two weeks old! We arranged a photoshoot for this momentous occasion:
I arranged for her to have a mini version of my Lamby. Smaller and not as cool as my original Lamby, but enough to satisfy her until she is smart enough to realize how inferior hers is to my Lamby. hahahaha! Inspection time! Gotta make sure she is up to the extremely high standards I have set for this household. Yup, she passes. She's got quite the death grip! And her tiny little foots! She is always happiest with Mommy. Daddy is known as the B-Team. B-Team for me, B-Team for Megan. We'll tolerate the B-Team for temporary durations if the A-Team is not available. Mommy tried to put us in the porch swing together. It didn't work... Daddy said something about me thrashing around too violently. Whatever... This was what Megan did for most of those first two weeks. It was intense. Chillin' out very early one morning with the A-Team. Daddy took me out to the Post Office one morning. I assumed the role of Postmaster... until I got hungry and wanted to eat. So I left. After a snack, daddy took me out to the riverside! Here I am demonstrating my jungle safari prowess. All I need is a sword or machete, but Daddy wouldn't give me one. So I think I'm gonna ask for a chainsaw for Christmas instead. I am starting to master brushing my own hair. I will open a barbershop soon! Hair demolition for $12+GST. Megan sure likes to sleep. It's hard to train an assistant when she's asleep so much. I've gone to the zoo at least a dozen times this summer. Here is my friend the emu. Harvest season is at hand! I've been raiding the garden every day harvesting grape tomatoes in my stomach. And a HUGE MILESTONE! This month saw me at my first day of SCHOOL! There were lots of things for me to play with there. The only problem were the other human creatures approximately my size who were hogging all the good toys! Then Megan turned ONE MONTH OLD!!! Here she is with her best friend, Bunny. Daddy said he's taking a break from the monthly portraits of me because I just cannot sit still anymore, and I'm still too young to be bribed. Daddy loves his Princess. Then we went shopping at the mall, where out of nowhere a cute little blonde girl my age immediately took my hand and wanted to walk the mall with me. I wasn't pleased when Daddy said we had to go. (True story!) He shook his head and said I was a "player", whatever that means. Megan and Daddy hanging out again. He can't seem to get enough of her. I decided to "help" daddy answer his business emails. You can see that we both are thinking along the same lines. One monday morning, Daddy took me shopping on Whyte ave. It was embarrassing... he was wearing shorts, sandals, and a t-shirt. One day, I'm gonna have to teach him how to dress. Like I've said many times before, good help is so hard to find. Then as we walked over the CP rail line, I had to stop and give one of my GQ poses. And this is not a GQ moment... first thing in the morning. Megan looked a lot better first thing in the morning. And my great uncle Rob came into town to help do some roofing and renovations. Here he is telling Megan a (tall) story during breakfast. You can tell she's not buying it. There's no fooling her! Hahaha. My protegé is showing early signs of great potential. Soon the two of us will be UNSTOPPABLE! Well, that about wraps up this edition of the Monthly World Report. Please stop by and say hello below! We'd love to hear from you! Over and out!
