I had the unique opportunity to be a part of an actual proposal! I usually meet couples well after the proposal has happened, but Rajat and Aanchal are by no means ordinary in any way. Including the fact that they booked me for their wedding before they were actually engaged. Hahaha.
So Rajat had it all planned out. Follow along to see how it unfolded.
He had a beautiful cake made specially for the occasion! There was a jewelery box made of fondant where he would place the ring.
The million dollar question...
Aanchal and Rajat then entered the cafe and sat down. He went and got the cake from the counter and brought it to her. At this point, one of her favourite songs started playing over the cafe sound system. And Rajat got down on one knee:
And the ring slid on like it was always meant to be there. It was so sweet! The entire cafe cheered!
A little pic with the cake. Aanchal still looking a little stunned. Rajat looking so much more relaxed at this point. He was nervous all day. Aanchal was wondering why he was behaving so oddly earlier. Hahaha. Rajat said that even though he knew she would say yes, he was a ball of nerves all day.

The whole thing went down at Block 1912 on Whyte Avenue. That was where they had their first date.

What can I say guys! CONGRATULATIONS! It was so awesome to be a part of the whole event! I had so much fun playing the part of ninja photographer. At your wedding, I can actually tell people I've known you guys before you were even engaged! hahaha. SOOOO looking forward to your multi-day extravaganza next July!!!
